Our Story

Pebbles Academy in Thika Town started out as Pebbles Preschool. We opened our doors and arms to the young learners in Thika town and its environs in May 2015.

10 years later, we opened another campus Pebbles Academy, Golfview in Golfview Estate, Githingiri Kangethe Road, where our Primary and Junior Schools are! Our little ones are still at Pebbles Academy, Thika - the Preschool campus.

We aim to provide the highest standard of care and education through our learning programmes for children aged 2-15 years old. Our children are taught by exceptional teachers to explore a rich and diverse range of activities within a flexible, stimulating, inclusive and welcoming learning environment.

Our highest priority is fulfilling each child's full potential by providing a strong learning and social foundation, and developing their self-respect, respect for others and their environment. We involve parents every step of this wonderful journey of their child's educational experience.

We are very excited to provide your child with a place where they can meet and interact with other young learners, feel comfortable and safe away from their parents, learn new skills and activities, and have loads of fun!

Message from the Head Teacher

Welcome to Pebbles Academy! Our first priority is your child. We love how every child has unique characteristics, and therefore, we recognise each child as an individual. The warm conducive environment in the Academy makes our children look forward to coming to school every new day. Even during the holidays, parents tell us that their children ask why the school van/bus is late. They love their school!

Our wonderful team of teachers is fully equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to cater to every developmental stage your child is experiencing. Our teachers are passionate about their work and are committed to bring out the very best in every child.

At Pebbles Academy, our parents are a crucial part of our student-parent-learner triad in their child's learning experience. We work very closely with parents to ensure the healthy development of our learners as we work to meet our vision.

Our older learners teach the younger ones empathy and kindness, and take care of them through our informal buddy system. The little ones have a lot to teach us adults as well, and that is one of the most amazing things about our school! Everyone learns something from each other.
